All retainer fees/deposits are to secure your date and are non-refundable. With the majority of the photography services being outside, please remember that weather can be a factor for your session. Myrtle Beach has an ever-changing forecast and typically has 20% chance of rain on a daily basis. It could be raining in the morning but by evening, it’s not.
Family/beach photos are scheduled in the evening, about 1 ½ hours before sunset. SjMPhoto will make every attempt to reschedule due to bad weather either the following morning or next available evening appointment. Refunds will only be given when SjMPhoto cannot reschedule. If you choose to cancel or not reschedule, there will be no refund.

SjMPhoto is the copyright holder of all images. A print release will be given with each digital download allowing the client to print when/where they choose. By hiring SjMPhoto, you are consenting to the use of your photos for display, publication and reproduction as needed.
SjMPhoto will provide a sneak peek on Facebook either the same evening of your session or by the next day. These images will have the SjMPhoto watermark and are for sharing with your family and friends. The watermark should not be cropped out of the photo. Digital download will be available within a week of our session—typically before. The watermark will be removed from those photos and the print release will allow printing with ease.
Communication is key from both you as the client and SjMPhoto. Confirmation of your scheduled appointment will be done the week of your session. SjMPhoto welcomes any questions and/or concerns that you may have. There are typical photo “poses” but any ideas or requests that you have, are welcomed as well. Being yourself and have that reflect in your session is what SjMPhoto is all about leading us to Capturing Forever Memories!
